Canadian made and manufactured our engineered stair treads ( also known as 'eco treads' or 'enviro treads' ) are assembled using only solid hardwood and unique manufacturing techniques. The end product is a stair tread with the exterior appearance of a conventional stair tread and the resistance to withstand well over 2,000 lbs of load pressure. Engineered treads will never warp, crack, and are easy to cut/sand/drill.
ECOLOGICAL
Forest preservation and conservation have become important factors and we are doing our part by promoting products that minimize our lumber consumption and reuse as much short lengths lumber possible. Our new engineered tread uses up to 60% less high quality lumber and puts to use short lengths which are normally rejected for the production of conventional stair treads.
ECONOMICAL
By using a solid hardwood core composed of short lengths which are normally rejected, we have developed a stair tread which has the aesthetic appearance of a premium grade stair tread, at a much lower cost.

Complete hardwood stair tread - dowels or dowel screws can be drilled into hardwood for long lasting solidity.
Solid top 1/8” - can be sanded without fear of reaching core.
Solid back allows drilling, grooving and fastening.
High load average capacity 2,355 lbs.
Aesthetic appearance of a premium quality stair tread at a much more competitive price.
Mitered returns can be installed exactly as with conventional stair treads.
