Coatings For Hardwood Stair Parts
We offer a high quality spray finish for wood in oil based stains, lacquers, sealers, primers and base whites.
The lacquer spray finish we use is ML Campbell Inc. conversion varnish 'Krystal®' this is a new generation post-catalyzed varnish. 'Krystal®' is a two in one product, its a sealer and a finish offering the ultimate in durability. 'Krystal®' is a high solids, water white, non-yellowing formula specifically designed for interior wood surfaces that are exposed to moisture, heat, household chemicals and everyday wear-n-tear.
The white & pastel base spray finish we use is Pittsburgh Paints Ltd. 'Pitt-Tech®' Interior DTM Industrial Enamel. This is a high quality 100% acrylic product ( we use a satin sheen it's luster is a shade below a semi-gloss ). 'Pitt-Tech®' provides great adhesion and has great touch-up properties on wood surfaces.
The finish spray booth we use ia a 'open front spray booth' this booth has only three walls ( see pictures below ). This spray booth takes in fresh air through the open front and then pushes the air into an exhaust filter at the back and/or top of the booth. This eliminates the concern for over spray as the booth circulates clean air as our finish shop also has its own air exchange system.
What wood products can we finish? We can spray: stair parts, kitchen cabinets, wood flooring, wood doors, wood
furniture ( tables, chairs, stools, entertainment units, book shelves - unassembled of course ), sheet plywood, butcher blocks, etc. Our policy is to apply 4 coats of spray to all of the wood products we finish.
